February is shaking out to be a light tournament month for our senior fencers, especially those rated C and higher, but our younger fencers will have lots of opportunities to compete! In addition to three RYCs and RJCCs, they can look forward to two local fencing tournaments in Maryland. We highly encourage our novice fencers to take a look at the Salisbury E & Under Epee event on February 5th. This event is limited to only the two lowest competitive classifications (E & U), making it great for a first fencing tournament or for trying to earn your E. Not sure which events would be best for you? Ask your coach for recommendations!
