Modern Duelists is located in the Triumph Industrial Park, just minutes off of I-95. Classes are held in our 3,600 sq.ft. fencing room, equipped with five regulation fencing strips, two practice strips, and over a dozen different wall, standing, and hanging targets. Students also have access to a fully-stocked armory for equipment repairs, a weight room for auxiliary training, and a break room/kitchenette.

Event Information
This event is sanctioned by the Maryland division of USA Fencing. Entries are limited to a maximum of 56 fencers. This event will follow the standard USA Fencing format, with a single round of pools, 100% promotion to direct elimination, and no fence-off for third place. Pools will consist of seven fencers whenever possible; depending on the number of entries, we may also use pools of six or eight. Doors open at 9:00am and check-in closes at 10:00am. No fencers will be allowed to check in for the event after 10:00am.
Eligibility
Fencers must have a birth year of 2010 or earlier. Fencers must have a valid USA Fencing membership at the Access level or higher. If you are not a member of USA Fencing, you can sign up here: https://member.usafencing.org/signup
Event Cost
The cost for this event is $40 if prepaid via Stripe, or $50 if paid at the door. If you have trouble using AskFRED’s payment system, or if you have any questions, please contact Coach Ryleigh at rsweet@modernduelists.com.
Preregistration & Walk-Ins
Fencers must be preregistered by midnight on the day of the event. If the tournament is not full, walk-in registrations will be accepted for $50.
Medals & Awards
Medals will be given to the top four fencers.
